Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 14, 2026

At reddō, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.

1. Information We Collect

When you sign up for reddō, we collect your username, authentication provider details (Google account ID or Passkey credential), and an auto-generated wallet address. We also collect the content you create: effort logs, pod interactions, comments, and profile information.

2. How We Store Your Data

reddō follows a local-first approach. Your data is primarily stored on your device. Sensitive information such as wallet private keys and recovery phrases are stored in encrypted secure storage on your device and never transmitted to our servers. Server-side, we store only what's necessary for the social features: your profile, posts, and pod memberships.

3. Wallet & Blockchain Data

Your wallet address is stored on our server to enable the tipping feature. Your private key and recovery phrase are stored only on your device in encrypted secure storage. Transactions on the Base network are public and recorded on the blockchain permanently. reddō does not control or have access to your wallet funds.

4. Authentication Data

If you sign in with Google, we receive and store your Google account ID to identify your account. We do not store your Google password. If you use Passkey, we store the public credential information needed for authentication. Your biometric data never leaves your device.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and maintain the App, enable social features (pods, following, tipping), display your public profile and effort logs, send notifications you've opted into, and improve the service.

6. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your public profile and effort logs are visible to other users based on your privacy settings. Pod content is shared only with pod members. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for analytics.

7. Data Security

We use end-to-end encryption for sensitive data. Wallet credentials are stored in platform-native secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). Network communications use TLS encryption.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, delete your account and associated data, export your data, and opt out of notifications. You can exercise these rights through the App settings.

9. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data from our servers within 30 days. Blockchain transactions are permanent and cannot be deleted.

10. Children's Privacy

reddō is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
